Job description

The cross-platform framework Qt is more popular than ever and we are looking for Product Marketing Managers (both juniors and more experienced) who can help us spread the word of Qt’s benefits and value propositions worldwide. The Qt Company has a solid customer base, containing a large number of internationally well branded companies in all the different industries, such as Industrial Automation, Medical, Consulting, Telecommunications, Automotive, among others. As a product marketing manager, you will be responsible for telling the world (and company) the story of our product. You will be expected to be our chief advocate for a specific product line, feature set and their benefits. Additionally, you will be charged with crafting the strategy around the messaging and marketing for new launches and product releases. You will report to the Product Marketing Director and work in our Oslo, Berlin or Espoo office.



  • Together with the product managers, R&D and the marketing team, educate both internal and external stakeholders about our product features & benefits by developing product messaging including positioning and value propositions.
  • Create product content (e.g. sales enablement presentations & tools, case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts, social media and whitepapers) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world.
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product.
  • Identify the product features to highlight and promote.
  • Develop and lead product go-to-market(ing) launches and work with PR to promote launch.
  • Work with sales, channel marketing, corporate marketing, marketing communications, technical support to ensure the product is effectively introduced to the market and continues to be successful.
  • Create user & buyer personas and scenarios.
  • Develop thought leadership programs.
  • Event support and identify speaking opportunities.

Your qualifications

  • BA/BS degree and relevant working experience.
  • Past experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and/or product management & sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English — there is a heavy amount of writing and content creation in this role.
  • Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring the product to life. You are at the center of our organization, constantly interacting with teammates and customers to create great stories.
  • Be able to grasp technical concepts and be able to translate them so that also non-techies will be able to understand.
  • Bonus skills: Experience in the automotive or automation industry (home and industrial industry), design, video production, WordPress and table tennis.
