Senior Compensation & Benefits Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior C&B Manager who is responsible for designing compensation structures; including our grading system, job evaluation system, job description policy, promotion policy etc., aligned with the company’s strategic plan. In this role, you will be actively monitoring the job market, the modern trends in the compensation and benefits policies, keeping track of prevailing pay rates and making sure we offer competitive compensation plans.

In order to be successful in this role, the Senior C&B Manager should build strong internal and external networks as the compensation decisions are understood and have the support across the organization. You will work closely with the top management supporting decisions and providing evidence for discussions within functions.

This position you will also be responsible for the coordination of outsourced payrolls in EMEA region (Finland, France, Norway and Germany). Currently these processes vary from country to country and they should be reviewed and streamlined with the local payroll vendors.

You will work in The Qt Company headquarters located in Espoo, Finland and work in a global HR team of 15 people reporting to the SVP HR.

Your work at Qt:

  • Track compensation and benefits benchmarking data
  • Design and coordinate compensation processes like the salary planning, bonus planning
  • Contribute to various incentive schemes development and monthly pay out audit
  • Train HR team members and line managers in the compensation area (pay-mix training, etc)
  • Coordinate the monthly payroll activities in Finland, France, Norway and Germany
  • Streamline the payroll process with the external vendors
  • Other assigned HR projects and tasks

What you have gained so far:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in C&B matters
  • Experience in working in a global organization
  • Experience in creating and delivering C&B related policies and processes
  • Project management experience
  • HRIS implementation knowledge is an advantage
