(Senior) Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a (Senior) Test Automation Engineer to join our Embedded R&D department in Oulu, Finland.

In this role you will...

  • develop and maintain the Qt release test automation infrastructure
  • work closely with the rest of the team to improve Boot2Qt test automation
  • maintain some of the system tests yourself, and guide other engineers in this area
  • monitor and prioritize bug reports, both from customers and the community
  • review other people's code contributions
  • innovate new test infrastructure solutions for our embedded platforms

You could be our test engineer if you...

  • are passionate about test automation
  • are curious and creative
  • know Python and shell scripting well
  • know Linux operating system well
  • are familiar with system test automation
  • are familiar with SW version control systems, preferably git
  • have good communication skills and are proficient in English
  • have experience about some test automation framework
  • are an excellent team player
  • are self-driven

Perhaps you...

  • are experienced with embedded HW
  • have experience with object-oriented programming
  • have used Squish tool
  • already know Qt and QML
  • feel at home on several operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
  • have experience with Jenkins and Grafana, or similar products
  • have used Gerrit and Jira, or similar products
  • have experience with operating system virtualization and IP networking
  • understand the concept of Yocto
  • have used cmake and qmake
