The Qt Company provides Qt and QML developers with three kinds of certifications. To become a certified developer, an exam attendee needs to pass the Qt and QML Essentials exam. The specialist status is nominated to developers, who additionally pass either the Qt Quick UI or Widget UI and Application Engine with Qt exam.

The Qt Company prints the certificates approximately once a month and the certificates are sent by mail to the exam candidates.

Qt and QML Essentials exam will test candidates’ basic Qt and QML knowledge. The exam contains 50 multiple choice questions, which need to be answered in 60 minutes.

In the Widget UI and Application Engine with Qt exam, candidates have 60 minutes time to answer 30 multiple choice questions about Qt widgets and Qt C++ programming APIs.
Widget UI and Application Engine with Qt Curriculum
Similarly to the Widget UI and Application Engine with Qt exam, there is 60 minutes time for the candidates to answer 30 multiple choice questions about Qt Quick and QML.
