The Axivion Static Code Analysis 7.5 has been certified by the SGS TÜV Saar as suitable for development of safety-related software.
In December we released version 7.5 of the Axivion Suite and are pleased to announce that the Static Code Analysis (SCA) package has now been certified by the SGS TÜV Saar for development of safety-related software.
Just as the previous versions, the SCA package was developed to support the creation of software intended for use in safety critical areas. It detects risky areas in the code at an early stage of development, enabling targeted reactions to newly emerging risks in the code. This avoids time-consuming and costly modifications at a later stage in the development process. The Axivion SCA is particularly suitable for the preparation and implementation of assessments and audits.
SGS TÜV Saar has certified that the Static Code Analysis package of Axivion Suite is suitable for development of safety-related software according to:
- ISO 26262 up to ASIL D
- IEC 61508 up to SIL 4, class T2 tool
- IEC 62304 up to SW safety Class C
- EN 50128 up to SIL 4, class T2 tool
- EN 50657 up to SIL 4, class T2 tool
