After submitting the form, check your email inbox for a verification link. If you don't see it, be sure to also check your spam folder. Click the link in the message and verify your email.
After verifying your email, you can install the software. Instructions will be sent to your email.

The educational license does not come with professional support from Qt engineers. However, you can get access to our free learning materials.
Qt Educational Licenses support MCUs starting from November 2023. Qt for MCUs is currently supported on Linux and Windows machines.

In case you start developing a learning project with a Qt Educational license, and it later turns into a commercial product, you need to either a) get a commercial Qt license or b) start using the open source based Qt Community Edition and comply with the corresponding open source terms and conditions.
You can choose from two license packages or have both:
Students and instructors of a recognized educational institute (university, college, or similar educational institution with the primary purpose of teaching enrolled students) with an active email address of that institute.
By filling in the form that you can find on this page. You need to have an active edu email address. After verifying the email address, you will be automatically granted access to the products and get installation instructions.
You get an error message if their email address is not valid. The error message contains a link to another form where you can request that your educational institution is added to the list. This will be processed manually.
