Customer Success and Engineering Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our global Customer Success Manager (CSM) and Customer Success Engineer (CSE) teams. As the Manager for the Customer Success Managers and Engineers, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion by providing direction, leadership, and mentorship to our CSMs and CSEs. This position is located in Qt's headquarters in Espoo, Finland.

You will

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Customer Success Managers and Customer Success Engineers to drive exceptional customer experiences and outcomes.
  • Set clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure team members meet and exceed targets.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Planning:

  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance customer success, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Support, to align customer success efforts with business goals and objectives.
  • Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and industry trends to identify opportunities for product improvement and customer engagement.

Customer Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to understand their business objectives, challenges, and priorities.
  • Proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expansion of our product offerings.
  • Serve as an escalation point for resolving complex customer issues and ensuring timely resolution.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to empower CSMs and CSEs with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends to ensure our team remains at the forefront of customer success practices.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role within the technical industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team lead capacity.
  • Proven track record of driving customer success, satisfaction, and retention in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Passion for technology and a genuine desire to help customers achieve their business objectives.
