Support Engineer (QA Tools)

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to support Qt’s Quality Assurance Tool customers. This role is based in Boston, MA. 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Process support requests from prospects and customers via email ticketing system
• Provide technical support via email and, in some cases, virtual meetings
• Reproduce technical issues
• Develop and provide solutions for smaller issues or forward requests to the development team for further debugging

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong programming skills in script languages such as Python, JavaScript and/or Java
• Experience with any GUI programming either professionally or otherwise
• Familiarity with Unix shell, Windows batch or PowerShell scripting
• Highly organized and solutions oriented
• Good written and verbal communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a curiosity for technical problems and motivation to help customers
