About the Role

The Qt team and Qt technology is helping industries to build next generation user interface solutions for industrial equipment, ships, satellites, vehicles, medical devices, consumer devices and all sorts of IoT devices. We are looking to fill our position of Technical Release Manager/DevOps Engineer in Hamburg.
About the role

Qt Company’s engineers in Hamburg work on the Qt Quality Assurance tools offering, which enables our customers to create applications that run smoothly on many different platforms.

As a Technical Release Manager and DevOps Engineer, you co-operate with engineers getting their code into the releases. Your days will consist of both technical and project managerial tasks and you will get to shape the future of our product delivery.

You

  • are a good communicator and able drive parallel topics
  • are systematic and able to summarize discussions into action plans
  • have experience with
    • Continuous integration systems (e.g. Jenkins)
    • Python
  • understand value of version control, review and processes

Perhaps you

  • have experience in project or release management
  • have already worked with
    • Groovy
    • Git
    • Docker
    • Java
    • Maven
  • have experience with
    • Large scale software development
    • Building cross-platform and multi-architecture software
