I'm happy to share with you that our new learning center has been published at qt.io/learn. From there, you can find our new course catalog and other materials related to learning Qt.
Courses are free and don't require logging in.
General courses introduce you to Qt Group and its products, licensing, and installing Qt. You are also guided through Qt Design Studio: what it is and how to get started.
Your first mission is to create a simple To-Do application and share it with a web link by using Qt Design Viewer. You get step-by-step instructions on how to do it - here's an example screenshot from the course:
And when you are ready, you can learn more about how to create user interfaces. In the Introduction to 2D UI design course, you'll learn to create this application UI by using Qt Quick Controls:
In the course catalog, you can also find individual tutorial videos, such as this popular guide on how to create a simple Qt Quick application.
Of course, there is a lot more to learn when using Qt, and we are continuously creating new courses. The first materials focus more on Qt Design Studio, but fear not – we will also take Qt Creator IDE as a starting point!
Here are some learning topics currently in progress:
Each course contains a feedback form for anonymous feedback, but you can also give us overall feedback or learning topic suggestions with a form that you can find at qt.io/learn.
And don't forget the Qt Forum, where you can share your cool projects and discuss them with others! You can find a separate new Qt Learning category there.
Download the latest release here: www.qt.io/download.
Qt 6.7 focuses on the expansion of supported platforms and industry standards. This makes code written with Qt more sustainable and brings more value in Qt as a long-term investment.
