We are looking for a License Management Specialist to join our Customer Success team in Boston.

Your role and responsibilities in the job:

  • Responsible for educating customers on Qt’s licenses policies
  • Working with the sales account managers to resolve any open cases
  • Managing compliance initiatives
  • Educating customers on Qt’s licenses policies (i.e. mixing code or sharing licenses)
  • Identify customers who are out of compliance
  • Sending compliance letters to customers and monitoring Compliance Dashboard
  • Providing weekly updates on management on actives and license management activities
  • Working with Sales Team on resolution plan

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 + years relevant experience and hi-tech industry background
  • Software industry experience a plus

Skill set

  • Use of SFDC & QlikView
  • Familiarity with open source software, third party licensing, opensource approval processes, or license compliance governance is highly valued and is a plus
  • Experience with software development tools, including IDE’s and Code Repositories
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Detail-oriented and outstanding follow through skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to successfully handle multiple, high urgency, requests in a reliable manner
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Ability to clearly communicate statuses to the appropriate people in a timely manner
