Lars Knoll

Lars has been working on Qt for more than 20 years, starting as a software engineer to later leading The Qt Company's global engineering team and The Qt Project. Lars will talk about what's in store for Qt in the future, Qt 6, and beyond.

Herb Sutter

Herb Sutter

Herb is a prominent C++ expert. He is also a book author and was a columnist for Dr. Dobb's Journal. He joined Microsoft in 2002 as a platform evangelist for Visual C++ .NET, rising to lead software architect for C++/CLI. Sutter has served as secretary and convener of the ISO C++ standards committee for over 10 years. In recent years Sutter was lead designer for C++/CX and C++ AMP.



Joe Nuxoll

Lead of the digital product design team (HMI) for all Polaris vehicle brands. Lead interaction designer for Human Machine Interface at Tesla, responsible for the ground-breaking Model S and Model X Touchscreens and mobile app.

Jon Kolko

As well as his role at Modernist Studio, John is the Founder of Austin Center for Design.

Jon has also held the positions of VP of Design at Blackboard, Executive Director of Design Strategy at Thinktiv, Principal Designer and Associate Creative Director at frog design, Professor of Interaction and Industrial Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Director for the Interaction Design Association (IxDand A), and Editor-in-Chief of interactions magazine.

Schrödinger is seeking to transform drug and materials design through its physics-based computational platform. Pat is responsible for defining Schrödinger’s technology platform, as well as directing all software engineering teams. 

Euan Cameron

Euan Cameron is responsible for Developer Technology at Esri and views a well-designed API as valuable as any work of art. Euan has worked in the geospatial software industry for over 30 years and continues to have fun innovating with maps and technology.

Matthew Hungerford

Matthew Hungerford

Matthew is the UX Team Lead for Embedded Software at ChargePoint. He is a Linux enthusiast, developing with Linux at companies such as Skype, Microsoft and now ChargePoint.  He is a maker and tech enthusiast who writes games (primarily for his kids), hacks on Arduinos and Raspberry Pis, and created ChargePoint’s EV Maker Faire booth.

Kris Dickie

Kris has been developing software and leading engineering groups in the medical space for 20 years. He joined a medical startup and began GUI programming using MFC to help build the world's first PC based ultrasound system. After a successful acquisition, in 2015 he helped co-found Clarius Mobile Health, the creator of the world’s first high-performance wireless handheld ultrasound.
