About the Role

Qt Group is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with key automotive customers across North America.

In this role, you will work with a wide range of automotive organizations, including mobility technology companies, software and hardware suppliers, engineering services groups, and vehicle system teams. You will drive both new business development and long-term expansion within key accounts by helping customers adopt Qt’s portfolio—including the Qt framework, embedded development solutions, and Quality Assurance tools.

You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand program needs, support development initiatives, and position Qt as a critical enabler for in-vehicle interfaces, connected systems, digital displays, and embedded software projects.

This is a hybrid in-office role based in Boston, MA; Detroit, MI; or Dallas, TX.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key automotive accounts across multiple business units, teams, and product lines
  • Build strong relationships with engineering, product, and technology leaders
  • Identify new opportunities across automotive programs, platforms, and development groups
  • Lead multi-threaded sales cycles involving technical evaluations and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Deliver demos, value-based discussions, and tailored proposals to diverse automotive teams
  • Develop long-term account strategies aligned to customer product and innovation plans
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to support customer requirements
  • Stay informed on automotive technology trends including digital experiences, connected systems, and embedded software advancements
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, account plans, and pipeline activity

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years of software or technology sales experience
  • Background working with automotive, mobility, or related technology customers
  • Strong relationship-building skills with technical and product-focused stakeholders
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Technical curiosity and the ability to communicate product value to engineering teams
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding quota
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or other structured enterprise sales methodologies

Bonus Points For…

  • Experience with embedded software tools, UI/UX frameworks, or QA automation
  • Familiarity with automotive development workflows or software lifecycles
  • Salesforce proficiency
