About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and data-driven Demand Generation Team Lead to build, coach, and lead a team of Demand Generation Specialists responsible for generating high-quality sales opportunities and closing low-value, transactional deals directly. This role serves as the bridge between Marketing and Sales, ensuring campaigns convert into pipeline while maintaining a strong feedback loop to senior sellers. The ideal candidate has hands-on SDR or Inside Sales experience, strong coordination skills with Marketing, and leadership capability suited for a junior inbound/outbound team.

This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Demand Generation Specialists.
  • Set weekly activity targets, conversion KPIs, pipeline goals, and individual close rates for low-value deals.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, and performance assessments.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop junior team members

Demand Generation Execution & Transactional Deal Closure

  • Oversee outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and marketing-generated lead conversion.
  • Own the strategy and performance for closing defined low-value, high-velocity deals (e.g., smaller transactional opportunities or lower-complexity offerings).
  • Ensure team executes consistent, high-quality follow-up via phone, email, and social channels.
  • Standardize and continuously refine outreach messaging, qualification criteria, and closing processes.

Marketing Partnership

  • Partner closely with the Marketing team to align outbound efforts with ongoing campaigns.
  • Provide real-time feedback on lead quality, persona engagement, and campaign performance.
  • Coordinate follow-up processes for events, webinars, and digital campaigns.

Pipeline, Revenue & Reporting

  • Track and report on team KPIs, including funnel metrics, opportunity creation, and low-value deal closure rates.
  • Ensure CRM accuracy, particularly for multi-source attribution across marketing and outbound efforts.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable improvements.
  • Present weekly insights to both Sales and Marketing leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Senior Account Executives to ensure seamless handoff of high-value opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to refine scripts, sequences, and deal closure playbooks.
  • Provide product and messaging feedback to Product Marketing.

About You

  • 2–4 years of experience in Demand Generation, SDR/BDR, Inside Sales, or similar pipeline roles.
  • Experience working with highly technical products (e.g., cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure, developer tools, and/or embedded systems).
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior reps (formal or informal).
  • Understanding of outbound sales motions and marketing-to-sales handoff processes.
  • Familiarity with closing small or transactional deals is a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work hybrid, onsite in Dallas three days per week.

Bonus Points For...

  • Previous responsibility for closing small deals or renewals.
  • Experience in B2B enterprise technology environments.
  • Exposure to ABM programs or integrated campaign execution.
  • Process-driven mindset with a continuous improvement focus.
