• 1. What is a subscription license?

Customers can purchase subscription licenses for various time periods, and are entitled to use the software during the agreed upon time period. When the subscription expires, the customer does not have access to use or distribute commercial software developed with Qt.

  • 10. What happens if I make a late payment?  Can I renew my Product Maintenance or my Subscription if it has expired?

  • 4.16. Can I use support services during the start-for-free period?

Yes. Qt Support services are available via Qt Account Portal.

Auto-renewal ensures continued access to your Qt products, technical support, and maintenance without interruption.

If your company requires you to issue a Purchase Order (PO) and reference this on your invoice to assure prompt payment, please contact your renewal specialist as soon as possible to ensure no interruptions to your license.

Please note if you wish to cancel or opt out of auto-renew you must do so 30 days in advance of the license expiration date.

  • 7. Can I opt-out of auto-renewal?

  • Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

You can cancel your subscription at any time, this will stop the auto-renewal of your subscription and your license will be terminated at the end of your current subscription term. For logistical reasons, there is a 30-day cancel period before the end of your term, i.e., you need to cancel no later than 30 days before the expiry of your subscription. If you cancel the subscription less than 30 days before expiry, then your subscription will be automatically renewed for the next term.
