Changes in deprecation status
Based on customer feedback, support for building the Qt wrapper and squishserver from source with Qt 4 and Qt 5 older than 5.6 will continue to be available in all Squish releases published up to September 2026. However, this legacy Qt support remains deprecated and is planned for removal towards the end of 2026.
If you are currently building Squish from source with these older Qt versions, we recommend reaching out the Qt Support Center to discuss suitable alternatives for your individual use-case.
