As excited as we were to bring the biggest and best global Qt gathering to California this May, the safety and wellbeing of our event attendees, speakers and staff takes precedent above all else. After monitoring the current situation with COVID-19 (a.k.a. coronavirus), we have made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming Qt World Summit 2020 event (due to be held in Palm Springs) to October 20-22.
We apologize if this news comes as an inconvenience or a disappointment, but we are committed to still running the great event at a more appropriate time. Information about this postponement can be found below, but please do not hesitate to reach out if you need any help.
The event is now scheduled to take place in October. The training day will be held October 20, and the main conference days will run from October 21 – 22.
Of course, and in order to reflect the new dates of the event, the early bird discount has been extended. Tickets can be purchased here.
Your ticket will be automatically transferred to the new dates, no need to take any action.
The conference program team is working hard to ensure that the program will remain the same on October 21-22, 2020. Training will remain the same and we will release more information in the coming weeks.
We do not wish to contribute to any panic surrounding the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. However, it has become clear that large gatherings or events can create a higher risk of transmission, therefore we consider it in the best interest of our staff and attendees to hold the event once the situation has improved.
To attain a reimbursement for your ticket purchase, please email qtws@qt.io for more information.
Please send any questions to qtws@qt.io. We would be happy to help!
