Commercial LTS Qt 5.15.19 Released

We have released Qt 5.15.19 LTS for subscription license holders today. As a patch release, Qt 5.15.19 does not add any new functionality but provides bug fixes.

Fixed Bugs and Important Changes

Compared to Qt 5.15.18, Qt 5.15.19 contains about 105 bug fixes and security updates. The list of fixes and the overview of all important changes in Qt 5.15.19 can be found in the release note. It is available via Qt Customer Portal: in Downloads, select Product: Qt and Version: 5.15.19.

Getting Qt 5.15.19

Holders of the valid subscription license can add Qt 5.15.19 to the existing online installation by using the maintenance tool or do a clean installation by using the Qt Online Installer. Offline installers are available in the Qt Customer Portal download area.

Accessing Sources

If you want to access the source code repository, it can be done via the Code Review system. Just log in with a Qt Account that has a valid commercial license, and you will be able to access the LTS repositories. Accessing Qt for Python

Qt for Python 5.15.19 release will be available via Qt Customer Portal few days after the Qt 5.15.19 release. In Downloads, select as follows:

• Product: Qt for Python Commercial Wheels, Version: Qt for Python Commercial Wheels 5.15.19
• Product: Qt for Python (Commercial LTS), Version: Qt for Python (Commercial LTS) 5.15.19

Building with Yocto

Qt for Device Creation images are available for Qt 5.15.19 LTS. If you want to build yourself with Yocto, set up Gerrit and use the meta-qt5 layer from the Qt repository. We have updated the Yocto meta-qt5 layer of Qt 5.15.19 to point to the commercial LTS repositories. For more details, please check the instructions on using yocto with access to the commercial LTS repositories.

If you have any problems with the commercial LTS releases, please contact Qt Support. You can also create bugs to https://bugreports.qt.io, but in addition, it is recommended to notify the support team about it.

Qt 5.15 End of Support and Extended Security Maintenance

Long-term support for Qt 5.15 ends after 26th of May 2025. After the support period, the release will be in EoS (End of Support) state and will only be supported through additional services, including Extended Security Maintenance for Qt 5.15, Extended Support, and Professional Services. Customers distributing applications or embedded devices using Qt 5.15 software should consider purchasing Extended Security Maintenance (ESM).
