About the Role

Qt Group is hiring a Public Sector Contracts & Compliance Manager to support our growing public sector business. We're seeking an experienced, collaborative professional to help guide our company's public sector compliance. As a member of our Legal team, you'll bring dedicated expertise to ensure operational compliance and support Qt Group's growth in a highly regulated environment.

 

In this role, you'll serve as Qt's subject matter expert and primary owner of public sector compliance. You'll lead the review, negotiation, and ongoing monitoring of federal contract obligations, working closely within Legal and with Sales, IT, Finance, and other teams to track obligations, build repeatable processes, close gaps, and embed compliant practices across the business. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of regulation and commercial operations.

 

This is a hybrid in-office role based in Dallas, TX. 

 

What You'll Do

CMMC & Cybersecurity Compliance

  • Support compliance with CMMC and other government cybersecurity requirements.
  • Liaise with IT, security, and product teams to assess compliance gaps and implement remediation plans.

 

Contract Review & Negotiation

  • Support negotiation of government contracts, including review of FAR/DFARS clauses.
  • Build and maintain tracking of contractual obligations, including FAR/DFARS and other agency requirements.
  • Review federal solicitations, RFIs, and RFPs, identifying risks and providing recommendations.
  • Liaise with external advisers and outside counsel on public sector compliance matters.
  • Advise on and maintain policies for supplier and third-party risk management and flow-downs.
  • Advise Sales on federal contract norms and provide training on public sector requirements and contract structures.
  • Maintain federal contract trackers, templates, and playbooks.
  • Maintain required registrations and certifications, and coordinate with internal teams on required reporting (e.g., VETS reporting).

 

Operational Compliance

  • Coordinate with the Legal and compliance team on export control determinations and compliance for federal contracts.
  • Coordinate with the product team and other internal teams on regulatory requirements affecting internal product and support practices.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to align business processes with compliance requirements.

 

Sales Enablement

  • Support Sales on federal procurement regulations and bid/no-bid decisions.
  • Prepare compliance representations and certifications for proposals.
  • Enable customer-facing compliance discussions.

 

 

What You Bring to the Table

 

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in government contracting, with demonstrable hands-on expertise in FAR and DFARS compliance—preferably within the technology or government contracting sectors.
  • A strong understanding of CMMC / NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity frameworks and experience coordinating with IT teams.
  • Experience with export control regulations and federal supply chain compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Finance, and Legal teams, translating complex federal regulatory requirements into practical, actionable guidance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare compliance representations, certifications, and internal playbooks to a high standard.

 

 

Bonus Points For... 

 

  • Professional certification such as NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM), CPCM, or an active security clearance (Secret or above).
  • Prior experience in a software, technology, or dual-use product company selling to the public sector.
  • Familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) or experience supporting government contract management systems.

Pay range for this position is
$156,000$186,000 USD
