Take it For a Spin: Qt Commercial 4.8 RC Available

We are super happy to announce that Qt Commercial 4.8 Release Candidate is now available for download. Yippie!

The Qt Commercial 4.8 RC includes several error corrections and improvements for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Solaris desktop, as well as many embedded operating systems.

Highlights:
- Stability and performance
- Threaded OpenGL and http
- New API's: Localization & IP multicast
- Xcode 4 support

In addition to the new functionality, Qt Commercial 4.8 Release Candidate contains 196 fixes and improvements over the 4.7.4 release, as well as new Webkit with 704 improvements and fixes compared to the previous Webkit version.

Qt Commercial 4.8 will carry many new improvements for our customers as several new platforms will be supported in the 4.8 series. Learn about our plans for Windows Embedded 7 in our blog post here.
